Current nominated stallions in the JJ Classic Barrel Futurity and any off spring of those stallions are eligible for the breeder incentive fund for futurity horses. The incentive fund is an additional side pot of money for entries that are sired by JJ nominated stallions or the stallion. If a JJ Classic Breeders Incentive Fund Stallion dies while nominated, all his foals are still eligible for the JJ Classic Breeders Incentive Pot. Stallions must nominate on an annual basis in order for foals to be eligible and to take advantage of the promotional opportunities. Entries by sires currently enrolled in the program are eligible for the JJBI purse with no additional fee. Entries that were foaled during a year their stallion was nominated (but for whatever reason the stallion is not currently paid) up can still compete for the JJBI for an additional fee of $100. Futurity is open to horses 5 and under that have not competed prior to December 1 of year preceding futurity. Horse may only run once in a JJ Classic Barrel Futurity as a futurity horse (either as a 3, 4 or a 5 yr old) Maturity is open to any horse that is not eligible for the futurity barrel class who has competed in the futurity, derby, is sired by a JJBI Stallion or is currently nominated as a JJBI Stallion or is 7 yrs old or younger as of Jan 1st, 2012. Breeder's Incentive Only current nominated stallions in the JJ Classic Breeder's Incentive and any offspring of those stallions are eligible for the JJBI Fund. Payment schedule: 2D FUTURITY FULL SECOND SPLIT (Entry Form) 2D MATURITY 1/2 SECOND SPLIT (Entry Form) $50 late fee per payment missed. ALL FUTURITY and MATURITY ENTRIES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY JULY 15th. Entries will not be accepted after July 15th. The first payment made will be considered the nomination. Nominations postmarked anytime after MAY 1ST, 2012 will be assessed a $50 late fee PER LATE PAYMENT. Once nomination is made, any sustaining payment RECIEVED after the dates identified above will also be assessed a late fee of $50 PER LATE PAYMENT. You must send a copy of your horse’s registration papers (front and back) with this nomination form. If you are not the owner listed on the papers, the OWNER must sign. All payments must be POSTMARKED on or before they are due, regardless of a Sunday or a Holiday. CASH ENTRY FOR ALL LATE ENTRIES. NO EXCEPTIONS ON ANY RULES. Futurity / Maturity / Open Vet Release / Horse Substitution Rules / Rider Substitution Rules Substitution of horses due to injury, illness, death, or sale of nominated horse with a veterinarians affidavit will be allowed (with 7 day notice prior to event) with a $40 fee. Substituted horse must meet eligibility requirements. Substitution of rider due to injury, illness, death, or sale of a nominated horse will be allowed (with 7 day notice prior to event) with a $40 fee. $2000 Added JJ Classic 2D Maturity +$2500 JJBI Stallion Incentive Purse $50 returned fee on all returned checks. The JJ Classic, Tuff Enuf Productions and United Barrel Racing Association are not responsible for any loss or damage that may occur to you, your horse, your tack and any of your family members or property. It is your responsibility to carry insurance on these things. It is impossible to cover in this list of rules every instance of every occurrence that may be dealt with. Any all decisions on items not covered here will be decided by the management and decisions by the management are final. |
