ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:

Darcy Berget
Wisconsin Director
President of the Badgerland Barrel Racers for WSCA
I am so glad to meet you, my name is Darcy Berget and I am very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of of the great and upcoming UBRA! If you need assistance at your event please feel free to contact me I would love to be of any assistance.
I was born riding horse, it was my mothers dream for me to succeed where she no longer could, so by the age of 7 I had won my first National Championship showing Morgans in English Division, by the age of 10 I had earned National and World Titles with Saddlebreds, Arabians, and Warmbloods and as well. I left horses for a few years and came back showing in the Paint and Quarter Horse Divisions advancing to the World levels with the horses and clients that I trained and worked with in the Halter and Pleasure rings. However I found deep inside the will to run against a time clock and my own doings vs a judge, and loved it to the point I left the pleasure horse industry and moved to Colorado where I further fell in love with rodeo, mounted shooting, and the true cowboy way of life.
Since I have moved back from Colorado I found UBRA and the great friendship that came with it and started running the middle of 2011, with lots of miles and work we became 2011 UBRA Rookie of the Year as well as the honors of
2011 Combined Region, 1D Champion, all with one great horse!
Through out my life I have had the opportunity to show and train several different breeds of horses from halter to 5th level dressage, from the local 4-H and WSCA shows to Canadian and World Championships. And now I'm very blessed to have the opportunity to work with UBRA!
