ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: My name is Barb Williams. I live near Buffalo, SD, where along with my husband, Brian, we own a ranch where we raise cattle and horses, and have 3 children, Brianna age 12, Brooklyn age 9, and Brody age 2. I have a work at home job doing medical transcription, which I am very fortunate to have because we live in the middle of nowhere! My girls are in to rodeo now so I spend a lot of my free time helping them. They participate in rodeos throughout the summer. I love barrel racing myself and try to compete every now and then. In my spare time I started up a secretarial service, Saddle Up Event Services, I work the office for many barrel racing events and also produce many of my own. That is how I became involved with the UBRA. When competing at races I realized that many times producers are trying to produce their event and also compete. I started this business so I can step in and relieve some of the stress. I can handle everything from beginning to end with regard to the office/secretarial aspects. I enjoy my job very much and have been fortunate to work many events and have made many new friends. I am excited about working with the UBRA and promoting the sport of barrel racing. This past year has been a wonderful experience and I reached my goal of helping ND go above and beyond the 50 members needed to have their own state finals!
