Hello, my name is Ashley Zimmerman. I'm from Viola Illinois, and very excited to become a part of the UBRA. I'm very new to producing barrel races, but, I have a great feeling about the path I'm setting out on by joining the UBRA and becoming the Illinois Director. I believe the UBRA has a bright future in Illinois, and can't wait to get started getting the word out to Illinois barrel racers!

I graduated from Blackhawk College East Campus in Kewanee Illinois in 2008, with a degree in Equine Science. I was a member of the IHSA Horse Show team, and placed 8th in the Nation in 2007 for Western Horsemanship. After graduation, I went to work for several different cutting horse trainers, and have enjoyed learning as much as a possible from my experiences in the cutting industry. I became certified in 2010 for equine massage through Equissage in Virginia. I am an avid believer in therapy, and on the road maitenance. We are currently in the process of opening part of our barn as an equine spa, with infrared therapy, massage - both hand, and use of the Niagara Equissage, as well as cold compression therapy (with the use of the Ice Horse Machine), and magnetic therapy. I also sell several different equine supplements.

Also, on the road, we are known as A&M Performance Horses. Here in Illinois we have an 80x120 indoor arena, as well as a 5 stall barn, nestled on 20 acres. Feel free to stop in anytime!
