There have been some concerns with members only having to go to certain shows to recieve year end awards. The UBRA is not a trailer race association, points are limited to the top 40 runs. If you attend a winter series - you will make 32 runs (8 shows x 4 runs). If you only run at the UBRA Tour - 24 runs. There are currently 10 series producers and at least a hundred misc. UBRA sanctioned events throughout the year. Here is a perfect example for 2007: Shelby Janssen was the 2007 Champion and did not hit the 40 run limit, only went to 1 of the Oasis shows and did not recieve points in at least one class at each of UBRA Tour shows.
We are looking for more UBRA Series Producers from all over the states so that it is easier for more people to earn points. Contact Jessica@ubra.org with any arenas where UBRA series could be held. |
